Bifunctional Regenerated Cellulose/Polyaniline/Nanosilver Fibers as a Ccatalyst/Bactericide for Water Decontamination
Water sources bear the brunt of adverse effects, which are occupied by massive pollutants, including chemicals and bacteria. Considering that nearly 800 million people currently still lack access to a water purification device and the grave threat of contaminated water to human health, accumulation of chemicals and bacteria contaminated issues in water concern the public increasingly. More seriously, the antibiotics abuse brought the emergence of pathogenic bacterial resistance to antibiotics, which requires new disinfection systems and disposal systems for water purification.

The Elevational Patterns of Bird Functional and Phylogenetic Structure in the Central Himalaya
How communities assemble is a central and fundamental question in ecology. Recently, the integration of functional trait and phylogenetic information into biodiversity studies provide new insight into assembly processes. The Himalayan Mountains, which are the highest mountains in the world, have extremely high mountain ecosystems (mountains with altitude higher than 5000 m), and are considered as the one of the world's biodiversity hotspots. With one of the longest elevation gradients, Himalayan Mountains provide an ideal system for exploring species distribution pattern along elevation gradient.

Long-term Trends in the Phylogenetic and Functional Diversity of Anatidae in South China Coastal Wetlands
Anatidae are widespread and well known birds, including ducks and geese wintering on the South China coastal wetlands. They are important components of wetland biodiversity and provide important ecological functions. Historically, migratory ducks were an important protein source for people living in South China. Often, more than one million ducks and geese were killed during a single hunting season. Despite their importance and dramatic declines, few studies quantifying the phylogenetic and functional historical trends of Anatidae in South China have been published.

Perovskite Quantum Dots for High-performance Light-emitting Diodes Were Developed
Perovskite quantum dots are a new type of optoelectronic materials developed in recent years. With excellent optical and electronic properties such as high photoluminescence quantum yield, high brightness, high defect tolerance, and the color gamut meeting the BT. 2020 standard, Perovskite quantum dots show increasing application prospects in the field of light-emitting diodes (LED) and new displays. However, factors like large specific surface area, surface-related trap states and the surface organic insulating ligands have serious negative effects on their fluorescence quantum yield and device performance.

In Vivo Analytical Technique Revealed The Mechanism of Metabolic Dysregulation in Plants under Carbamate Pollution
The research team of Institute of Analysis, Guangdong Academy of Sciences (China National Analytical Center Guangzhou), in cooperation with Sun Yat-sen University and Jiangxi Normal University, developed a new solid-phase microextraction (SPME) in vivo analysis technique based on a nitrogen-rich porous polyaminal. The technique was used to track the bioaccumulation and elimination of carbamates and their metabolites, as well as the endogenous metabolic dysregulation behavior, in living Chinese cabbage plants. This contribution provided new and important information regarding exogenous carbamate contamination and related metabolic dysregulation in plants.

Significant Progress on the Development of Covalent Organic Frameworks-Based Solid-Phase Microextraction Probe
Rapid, sensitive, and accurate analysis of trace environmental pollutants is urgently required in the field of environmental analytical chemistry. Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) are a series of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) widespread in environment and organism, and they have been concerned widely by both health authorities and public due to their hepatotoxicity, reproductive toxicity, and potential carcinogenicity. Perfluorooctanesulfonic acid (PFOS) and perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) are the two most widely used PFASs that have been designated as target chemicals for regulation by the Stockholm Convention on POPs. It is necessary to monitor the contents and compositions of PFASs in environmental and biological media for understanding their environmental behaviors and toxic effects.

Multidrug‐Resistant Proteus mirabilis isolates carrying blaOXA‐1 and blaNDM‐1 from wildlife in China
Microbial pathogen ecology research Group from the Wildlife Diseases and Immunology Research Center, Institute of zoology, Guangdong Academy of Sciences, conducted research on Proteus mirabilis isolated from wild animals from Shanghai Zoo, hospital, Zhengzhou zoo and illegal trafficking, and found that wild animals carried important multidrug-resistant genes blaOXA-1 and blaNDM-1. On December 2, 2020, the research results were published in integrative zoology (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.1111/1749-4877.12510).
